魏然
中国社会科学院外国文学所副研究员
魏然,北京人,生于1981年,本科毕业于北京大学西班牙语系,博士毕业于北京大学中文系比较文学与比较文化研究所,获文学博士,师从戴锦华教授。现供职于中国社会科学院外国文学研究所,从事西班牙语文学、大众文化及拉美思想史研究。曾先后在委内瑞拉梅里达安第斯大学(2007年)、德国美因茨古腾堡大学(2008年)担任访问讲师,2010-11年曾在美国杜克大学罗曼语言文学系从事访问研究,2016年赴阿根廷布宜诺斯艾利斯访问拉丁美洲社会科学理事会访学。文学和学术翻译包括加西亚•马尔克斯《一桩事先张扬的凶杀案》(南海出版公司,2013)、瓦尔特•米尼奥罗《文艺复兴的隐暗面:识字教育、地域性与殖民化》(北京大学出版社,2016年)、比奥伊•卡萨雷斯《俄罗斯套娃》(上海文艺出版社,2013)、费尔南多•萨瓦特尔《政治学的邀请》(北京大学出版社,2009年)、《劳尔·卡斯特罗:革命生涯》(合译,中国社会科学出版社,2016年)等。近期发表论文有《旅行书写、人文地理学与摩尔人——张承志解说的西班牙语世界》(《文艺理论与批评》2018年第2期)、《牢记“印第安”是受苦人的名字》(《读书》2017年第2期)、《重绘巴拉圭战图:南美战争记忆与区域一体化》、《拉丁美洲电影的纪录片倾向》等。
Wei Ran

WEI Ran is an Associate Professor of the Institute of Foreign Literature (IFL), Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS). PhD in the Institute for Comparative Literature and Culture at Peking University. A specialist on cross-cultural studies, he finished his dissertation on political cinemas and the 1960s, under the supervision of Prof. Dai Jinhua, a influential feminist Marxist scholar in China. He also published several essays on cross-cultural humanistic exchanges in the Early Modern period and contemporary Latin American popular cultures. In terms of translation, he is the Chinese translator of Walter Mignolo’s The Darker Side of Renaissance and García Márquez’ s Chronicle of a Death Foretold, among others. In terms of teaching, he taught at Universidad de Los Andes, Venezuela in 2007, and Gutenberg Universität, Germany in 2008. He was a visiting scholar in Romance Studies at Duke University in North Carolina, U.S.A. (2010-11) and most recently, Latin American Council of Social Sciences (CLACSO) in Buenos Aires, Argentina (2016).

摆脱依附:中国与拉丁美洲之间的思想译介
“依附”是拉丁美洲思想文化史的核心议题之一。短20世纪的“漫长的60年代”对拉丁美洲而言是革命与发展交叠展开的时代,也谋求学术与思想的自治、“摆脱依附”的年代。作为一个谱系庞杂却有批判力的理论回应,从拉丁美洲兴起的“依附理论”为亚非大陆的思想者广泛分享。然而,进入到新自由主义的90年代以来,特别是近期随着信息技术的普及,全球知识市场的竞争日趋激烈,原先由跨国公司推动的国际知识标准化在亚非拉各地变得更加内在化、更加本土化了。对拉美而言,知识依附的处境更加恶化,对持批判思想的人们来说,改造知识地缘政治的任命也更为艰巨。正是在这一语境下,崛起中的中国成为决定拉美次大陆未来走向的参数之一。当代中国对拉美而言,早已不是孤悬天涯的他者:中国是重要的贸易伙伴、替代性的投资人和基础设施建设者。在未来十年里,拉丁美洲思想界必要像原先思考拉美与美国关系那样,反思与中国的关系。在这一过程里,我们面对着急迫的多重译介任务:不仅是西、葡语和中文之间的迻译,还应助推“基层”与“国家”之间的翻译(如墨西哥萨帕塔运动副司令马科斯的位置),“激进的六十年代”与当代思想之间的代际翻译,凡此等等(我们正在实践着的“拉美思想学术译丛”就是这一系列翻译工程的起步工作)。上述多重译介工作总体关联着“摆脱依附”的初衷,期待着在中国与拉丁美洲思想界之间搭建起思想自治的同盟。

Beyond Dependency: Intellectual Translations between China and Latin America
Dependency is one of the core issues in Latin American intellectual and cultural history. For this subcontinent, the 1960s is not only a period overlapped by impulses of revolution and development, but also an era of academic and ideological autonomy. As a complex but effective theoretical response, the “dependency theory” emerging from Latin America has been widely shared by the Asian and African critical thinkers. However, since the beginning of the neoliberalism in the 1990s, especially after the popularization of digital technology, the competition of the global knowledge market has become more intense and the standardization of knowledge formerly promoted by transnational capital has become internalized and localized in all parts of LAC. For Latin America, the condition of knowledge dependency has worsened. In this context, the rising China has become one of the crucial references for the future directions of Latin America. Contemporary China for LAC has long been not a remote other, but an important trade partner, alternative investor, financial source and infrastructure builder, among multiple transnational encounters. It could be foreseen that, in the next decade, Latin American thinkers will theorize their relationship with China, just as their forerunners profoundly reflected on the conversations between Latin and Anglo America. In this process, we are confronted with the urgent tasks of multiple translations: not only the translation between Spanish/Portuguese and Chinese, but also between subaltern and state, even between the legacy of 1960s and contemporary trends of thought. The multiple translation missions mentioned above are generally associated with the original intention of “beyond dependency.” By practicing those missions, we look forward to building up an alliance of intellectual autonomy between Chinese and Latin American thinkers to shape a new global geopolitics of knowledge.
